Gas Engineer

Trade Recruit is proud to be recruiting on behalf of one of our prestigious clients based in the Central Belt of Scotland, CahsGas – a growing domestic gas services company with a strong reputation for quality workmanship and excellent customer service.Due to increasing demand, CahsGas is looking to expand its team with an experienced, self‑employed Gas Engineer to support ongoing domestic workloads.

This is a domestic‑only role, offering consistent, long‑term work with a reliable and professional company. This opportunity is ideal for an established Gas Engineer who wants steady work, clear expectations and the ability to manage their own workload without the complexity of commercial sites.

Key Responsibilities

• Carrying out domestic gas installations, servicing and repairs
• Working exclusively within residential properties
• Ensuring all work complies with Gas Safe regulations and industry standards
• Delivering a professional, customer‑focused service on every job
• Completing all required job sheets and compliance documentation accurately

Essential Requirements

• Gas Safe registered
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in domestic gas work
• Full UK driving licence
• Own van, tools and equipment
• Ability to work independently and manage your own workload

Desirable (Not Essential)

• G3 / Unvented qualification
• Bathroom fitting experience
