Trade Recruit is working on behalf of a reputable and growing client to recruit a highly skilled Kitchen Fitter / Finishing Carpenter for ongoing residential projects across Devon.
This is a long-term opportunity for a reliable subcontractor who takes pride in delivering high-end finishes and is confident managing installations independently.
About the Role
You will be responsible for the complete installation of kitchens from start to finish, working on a variety of residential properties including refurbishments and renovations. The role requires a strong eye for detail, precision in finishing work, and the ability to problem-solve on-site.
You will be travelling to different job sites within a 20-mile radius of EX7, so flexibility and organisation are essential.
Key Responsibilities
- Full kitchen installations including cabinets, worktops, panels, plinths, and trims
- Accurate measuring, cutting, and fitting to ensure a high-spec finish
- Installation of integrated appliances (where required)
- Carrying out associated finishing carpentry (e.g. doors, skirting, architraves, adjustments)
- Working on renovation and refurbishment projects
- Interpreting drawings, plans, and specifications
- Maintaining a clean, safe, and organised work environment
- Liaising professionally with clients, site managers, and other trades
- Ensuring all work is completed to deadline and to a high standard
Working Schedule
- Monday to Friday
- 08:00 – 16:30
- Consistent, ongoing workload
Requirements
- Minimum 5+ years’ experience in kitchen fitting
- Proven track record delivering high-quality installations
- Ability to work independently and manage your own workload
- Full UK driving licence
- Own reliable Van
- Own tools and equipment required to carry out the work
- Strong attention to detail and pride in workmanship
- Good communication skills and professional attitude on-site
