Solar Sales Advisor

Trade Recruit is proud to be recruiting on behalf of a rapidly expanding renewable energy company based in West Yorkshire. Due to continued growth and strong market demand, we are seeking ambitious and experienced Solar Sales Advisors to join a successful and supportive team.

The Role

As a Solar Sales Advisor, you will meet homeowners at pre-booked residential appointments to present and sell solar PV and battery storage solutions. You will guide customers through the benefits of renewable energy; design tailored solar systems and manage the sales process through to close.

The company provides full operational and installation support, allowing you to focus on delivering a professional consultation and securing sales.

Key Responsibilities

• Attend pre-qualified residential appointments
• Deliver engaging and professional solar consultations
• Design solar PV systems using OpenSolar or Easy PV software
• Recommend tailored solar and battery storage solutions
• Manage the full sales cycle from consultation to close
• Accurately complete sales documentation and handover to the installation team

Maintain high standards of customer service, compliance and professionalism

What We’re Looking For

• Proven field sales or face-to-face sales experience
• Previous experience in solar or renewable energy sales preferred
• Experience using OpenSolar and/or Easy PV
• Strong communication and closing skills
• Highly motivated, target-driven and self-disciplined
• Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle
• Ability to manage your own schedule and sales pipeline
