Glazing Estimator

Trade Recruit is seeking on behalf of our fast-growing client based in Crawley, an experienced and detail-oriented Glazing Estimator to join their established and expanding team.

This role offers an excellent opportunity to contribute to a growing organisation, supporting both estimating and operational functions within a professional glazing environment.

Role Overview

The successful candidate will be responsible for producing accurate and commercially sound quotations, managing materials and stock control, and supporting day-to-day operational activities. This position requires strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively across multiple departments.

Key Responsibilities

Prepare accurate quotations for glazing products, including:

• Shower screens
• Mirrors
• Balustrades
• Splashbacks

· Order materials and parts for all glazing projects

· Work closely with the operations team to support job planning and material requirements

· Upload and maintain materials, costs, and stock levels within Simpro

· Carry out regular van stock checks for internal glazing teams

· Ensure van stock records are accurate and up to date within the system

· Act as the first point of contact for incoming enquiries, ensuring they are handled professionally and directed to the appropriate team members

· Liaise closely with office personnel to support workflow and communication

· Cut glass in the yard for both customer and installation requirements

· Ensure all glass cutting is completed in a timely and accurate manner

· Maintain a clean, safe, and well-organised yard environment

Candidate Requirements

· Proven experience within a glazing, estimating, or similar technical role

· Strong knowledge of glazing materials and products (preferred)

· Experience using stock management or estimating systems (Simpro desirable)

· Excellent organisational and communication skills

· Ability to manage multiple priorities effectively

· A proactive and hands-on approach to work

· Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
