Our client, Decor Construction Group Ltd, is a growing and well-established construction company specialising in high-quality residential renovations, property refurbishment, rendering, and external property improvements across Coulsdon, South London, and the surrounding areas.
Due to continued growth, they are looking to recruit an experienced Renderer to join their subcontract installation team.
This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled tradesperson looking for consistent, long-term work with a reputable company that values quality workmanship, professionalism, and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
- Apply a range of rendering systems to residential properties.
- Prepare surfaces, including cleaning, repairing, and priming substrates prior to rendering.
- Install render beads, mesh, and reinforcement where required.
- Apply sand and cement render, silicone render, and insulation render systems to a high standard.
- Carry out wall repairs and remedial rendering works as required.
- Ensure all rendering work is completed to a high standard with excellent attention to detail.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organised working environment.
- Communicate professionally with customers and site managers.
- Work independently and as part of a wider installation team.
Essential Requirements
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in rendering.
- Proven experience applying sand and cement render, silicone render, and insulation render systems.
- Strong experience preparing substrates and achieving high-quality finishes.
- Ability to carry out rendering projects from preparation through to completion.
- Own van and tools.
- Full UK driving licence.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects.
- Excellent attention to detail and pride in workmanship.
- Reliable, professional, and customer-focused approach.
Desirable Skills
- CSCS Card.
- Experience with monocouche render systems.
- Experience working on residential refurbishment projects.
- Knowledge of leading render manufacturers such as Weber, K Rend, Ecorend, or Parex.
- Broader property refurbishment or external works experience.
