Trade Recruit is working on behalf of a well-established and growing glazing company in Crawley, who are looking to recruit an experienced Accounts & Administration Assistant to join their team.
This is a key position within the business and would suit someone confident working independently, with experience managing the accounts and administrative functions of a busy, reactive construction environment.
Key Responsibilities
· Processing weekly and monthly payroll
· Preparing and submitting VAT returns
· Managing CIS returns and ensuring compliance
· Handling day-to-day accounts and administrative duties
· Supporting job costing, invoicing, and financial reporting
· Reconciling accounts and maintaining accurate financial records
· Liaising with management and external accountants as required
· Providing general administrative support to the business
Essential Requirements
· Proven experience in an accounts and administration role
· Strong working knowledge of Xero
· Experience using Simpro job management software
· Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
· Ability to work proactively, manage deadlines, and prioritise workload
· Confident working independently in a fast-paced environment
Desirable
· Experience within the construction or glazing industry
· Payroll and CIS experience
· Experience supporting job costing in a project-based environment
