Our client, Ryton Roofers, is seeking a reliable and organised Administrator to join their growing team. This is a part-time role with a clear pathway to full-time employment, offering a varied and customer-facing position within a busy and reputable roofing business.
You’ll play a key role in keeping daily operations running smoothly while delivering excellent service to customers and supporting the wider team.Key
Responsibilities
- Booking and managing customer appointments
- Chasing outstanding payments in a professional and friendly manner
- Handling inbound and outbound phone calls
- Managing the company email inbox and correspondence
- Supporting day-to-day administrative operations
- Greeting customers and providing a positive first impression
- Checking in with customers and employers to ensure satisfaction
- Assisting with basic marketing activities where required
Requirements
Must-Have:
- Previous experience in an administrative or customer service role
- Excellent communication skills (phone, email, and face-to-face)
- Strong organisational skills with attention to detail
- Confident using computers and office systems
- Professional, friendly, and approachable manner
Nice-to-Have:
- Experience within construction, trades, or a similar industry
- Basic marketing or social media experience
- Experience handling invoicing or payment chasing
