Air Conditioning Engineer

Trade Recruit is currently seeking an experienced and reliable Air Conditioning Engineer on behalf of our client, to work on a subcontractor basis across Bedford and the surrounding areas. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled engineer looking for consistent work with flexibility on a pay-per-job basis.

About the Role
You will be responsible for the installation, servicing, and maintenance of a range of air conditioning systems across both residential and commercial sites. All work will be carried out under our client’s company name, so a high standard of workmanship and professionalism is essential at all times.

Key Responsibilities

• Installation of split, multi-split, and VRV/VRF air conditioning systems
• Servicing, maintenance, and fault finding
• Diagnosing and repairing system issues efficiently
• Ensuring all work complies with current regulations and industry standards
• Representing the client professionally on-site
• Completing job reports and relevant documentation accurately

Requirements

• Valid F-Gas certification
• Proven experience as an Air Conditioning Engineer
• Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills
• Full UK driving licence
• Own tools and van (essential)
• Ability to work independently and manage workload effectively
• Professional, customer-focused approach
