Air Conditioning Engineer

Trade Recruit is proud to be recruiting on behalf of one of our prestigious clients based in Ayrshire.

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Air Conditioning Engineer to join a growing and highly regarded installation team. This is an excellent opportunity for an engineer who takes pride in delivering high-quality workmanship and enjoys working within a positive, proactive environment.

The company undertakes a wide variety of projects across Glasgow, the Central Belt and the West of Scotland, ranging from small domestic installations through to large-scale commercial and VRF systems.

For ambitious engineers looking to expand their skill set, there are opportunities to gain experience with ventilation and air source heat pump installations.

Key Responsibilities

• Installation of air conditioning systems across domestic and commercial sites
• Working on wall-mounted, ducted, split and VRF systems
• Ensuring all installations meet industry standards and regulations
• Maintaining high-quality workmanship and a professional approach on site
• Working collaboratively as part of an experienced installation team
• Supporting additional ventilation and heat pump projects where required

Requirements

Essential

• F-Gas Qualification
• Minimum 3 years’ experience in air conditioning installation
• Full UK Driving Licence
• Strong technical knowledge of air conditioning systems
• Positive attitude and strong work ethic
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Desirable

• Experience with ventilation systems
• Experience with air source heat pump installations

Salary & Benefits

• £20.00 – £24.00 per hour depending on experience
• Overtime available
• Time and a half paid after 40 hours
• Travel time paid both ways
