Trade Recruit is looking on behalf of our client for an experienced and skilled Bathroom Fitter to join a well-established and growing business operating throughout South Yorkshire. This role offers consistent, long-term work for a reliable tradesperson who takes pride in delivering high-quality workmanship and excellent customer service.
Role Overview
As a Bathroom Fitter, you will be responsible for carrying out complete bathroom installations and associated plumbing works within residential properties. This includes delivering a high-quality finish across all aspects of the installation, with particular attention to tiling, which plays a key role in the overall look and customer satisfaction of each project.
This is a field-based role requiring independence, strong organisational skills, and a customer-focused approach.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out full bathroom installations from start to finish, including first and second fix plumbing
- Install baths, showers, toilets, basins, taps, pipework, and associated plumbing systems
- Complete wall and floor tiling to a high standard, ensuring an excellent final finish
- Undertake general plumbing works, repairs, and adjustments as required
- Ensure all work is completed in line with industry standards, building regulations, and health & safety requirements
- Read and interpret job specifications and plans accurately
- Liaise professionally with customers, addressing queries and maintaining a high standard of service
- Manage your daily workload effectively to meet agreed schedules and deadlines
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organised working environment at all times
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A minimum of 3 years’ proven experience as a Plumber and/or Bathroom Fitter
- NVQ Level 2 in Plumbing as a minimum qualification
- Confidence in completing tiling as part of full bathroom installations
- Self-employed status, with the ability to provide relevant documentation if required
- Your own van, tools, and equipment suitable for plumbing and bathroom installation work
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to high-quality workmanship
- A professional, reliable, and customer-focused attitude
- The ability to work independently and manage your time effectively
Working Hours & Location
- Standard working hours are 8:00am – 5:00pm, Monday to Friday
- Occasional Saturday work may be required to complete ongoing jobs where necessary
- Work is based across South Yorkshire, with projects allocated locally where possible
