We are seeking an experienced Carpenter / Loft Installer to join a well-established and growing loft boarding and loft ladder installation business that forms part of a nationally recognised franchise network.

This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled tradesperson who takes pride in delivering high-quality workmanship and exceptional customer service. You’ll work across residential properties throughout the South East, helping homeowners maximise their loft space through professional loft boarding and loft ladder installations.

Unlike many installation roles, travel time is fully included within your working hours, ensuring a better work-life balance and fair recognition of your time on the road.

Key Responsibilities

• Install loft boarding systems to a high professional standard
• Carry out loft ladder installations safely and efficiently
• Complete projects within agreed timeframes
• Maintain excellent customer service throughout each installation
• Ensure all work complies with health and safety requirements
• Care for company vehicles, tools and equipment
• Represent the company professionally at all customer sites
• Maintain a clean and organised work area on every project

What We’re Looking For

Essential Requirements

• Minimum 2 years’ experience working within loft installations, loft boarding or related carpentry work
• Strong carpentry and installation skills
• Full UK driving licence
• Excellent attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Reliable, professional and motivated attitude

Desirable

• Experience installing loft ladders
• Previous experience working in customers’ homes
• Knowledge of loft storage systems and related products
