Gas Engineer

Trade Recruit is proud to be recruiting on behalf of one of our prestigious clients based in the South of the UK, Southampton
We are seeking an experienced Gas Engineer to join a well-established, professional, and supportive team covering Southampton and the wider South East/West region.

Key Responsibilities

• Installation of domestic boilers and general plumbing
• Carry out servicing, maintenance and repairs on domestic gas systems
• Diagnose faults and complete remedial works efficiently
• Ensure all work complies with safety legislation and industry standards
• Maintain accurate job records using company systems
• Deliver excellent customer service across residential properties
• Travel across the South of the UK (company van provided)

Requirements

Must-Have:

• Minimum 5 years of experience as a Gas Engineer
• Relevant gas qualifications (ACS/Equivalent)
• Gas Safe Registered
• Full UK driving licence
• Strong knowledge of domestic gas systems
• Ability to work independently in a field-based role

Nice-to-Have:

• Commercial experience would be a bonus
• Additional heating or plumbing qualifications
• Experience with fault-finding and diagnostics

Salary & Benefits

• Starting salary £45,000 per annum
• PAYE employment
• Minimum 40-hour week + overtime available
• Company van, fuel card, phone & uniform provided
• 28 days holiday + your Birthday off
• Private healthcare (after 12 months)

Working Pattern

• Full-time, field-based
• Minimum 40 hours per week
• Covering Southampton, South East & South West regions
