Hard landscaper

Trade Recruit is proud to be recruiting on behalf of one of our prestigious clients based in Stafford, a well-established and highly respected landscaping business with a strong pipeline of residential and commercial projects.

They are seeking an experienced Hard Landscaper to join their team on a subcontractor basis. The client is open to both individual subcontractors and hard landscapers who work alongside their own labourer, provided work is completed to a high standard.

This is a hands-on role offering consistent work and long-term collaboration.

Key Responsibilities

• Carrying out all aspects of hard landscaping
• Groundworks and site preparation
• Operating a digger safely and efficiently
• Laying paving, patios, kerbing, and retaining features
• Working from drawings and specifications
• Maintaining high standards of health & safety and site presentation

Requirements

Essential:

• Proven experience as a hard landscaper
• Digger experience (tickets beneficial but not essential if demonstrably competent)
• Ability to deliver high-quality work with minimal supervision
• Own transport and own tools
• Reliable, professional, and safety-conscious

Also considered:

• Hard landscapers who work with their own labourer

Desirable (not essential):

• Experience on high-end residential or commercial landscaping projects
• Ability to read landscaping drawings and plans
