Trade Recruit is proud to be recruiting on behalf of one of our prestigious clients based in Birmingham.

VS5 is expanding its private audiology service and is looking for an experienced Hearing Care Assistant / Audiology Patient Coordinator to support the delivery of a high-quality, patient-focused service.

Working alongside a qualified Audiologist, you will play a key role in guiding patients through their journey – from initial contact and appointment coordination through to aftercare and support.

This role suits someone with solid healthcare or optical experience who is confident working with patients and enjoys combining clinical support with organisation and communication.

Key Responsibilities

  • Carry out ear health checks and otoscopy
  • Identify earwax issues and perform earwax removal within scope
  • Educate patients on hearing health and available private services
  • Coordinate and prepare audiology appointments effectively
  • Support patient follow-up, aftercare, and hearing aid maintenance
  • Maintain accurate and compliant CRM records
  • Work with wider teams to encourage and support hearing care referrals
  • Help improve appointment attendance and clinic utilisation

Requirements
Essential

  • Experience in hearing care, audiology, optical, or similar healthcare setting
  • Competency in otoscopy and earwax removal
  • Strong communication and patient care skills
  • Comfortable discussing private healthcare services and benefits
  • Organised with good attention to detail
  • Willing to travel between locations

Desirable

  • Previous Hearing Care Assistant experience
  • Exposure to hearing aids or aftercare support
  • Commercial awareness with a patient-first approach
