Heating and Plumbing Engineer

Trade Recruit is proud to be recruiting on behalf of one of our prestigious clients based in Scunthorpe.

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Heating and Plumbing Engineer to join a growing, forward-thinking team. This role offers a strong salary, excellent benefits, and clear progression opportunities within a company that genuinely values its engineers.

You’ll primarily work within a 40-mile radius of Scunthorpe, with occasional work away (always with plenty of notice). This is an exciting opportunity for an engineer looking for stability, professional growth, and a supportive work culture.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out installation, servicing, and maintenance of heating systems
• Diagnose faults and complete repairs efficiently
• Ensure all work is compliant with relevant safety standards and regulations
• Provide excellent customer service and maintain a professional approach
• Work independently and as part of a team when required
• Complete relevant job documentation accurately

Requirements

Must-Have:

• Valid Gas qualifications (essential)
• Recognised Plumbing qualifications
• Minimum 2 years’ experience as a Heating Engineer
• Full UK driving licence

Desirable (Nice-to-Have):

• OFTEC certification
• F-Gas qualification
• Air Source Heat Pump (ASHP) qualifications

Salary & Benefits

• £45,000 – £60,000 per annum (depending on experience)
