We are seeking a skilled and reliable Heating and Plumbing Engineer to join a growing and reputable team. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced professional with a strong background in both gas and plumbing services, looking for stable PAYE employment and long-term career growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out installation, servicing, and repair of gas appliances and heating systems
- Complete general plumbing work including maintenance and installations
- Diagnose faults efficiently and provide effective solutions
- Ensure all work complies with current gas safety regulations and industry standards
- Deliver high-quality workmanship and excellent customer service
- Maintain accurate job records and reports
Requirements
Must-have:
- Minimum 5 years’ experience as a Heating & Plumbing Engineer
- Valid Gas Safe registration
- Strong knowledge of domestic gas systems and plumbing
- Full UK driving licence
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Nice-to-have:
- Experience in both reactive maintenance and planned installations
- Relevant NVQ or City & Guilds qualifications
Salary & Benefits
- £38,000 – £42,000 per annum (PAYE) depending on experience
- Overtime paid at enhanced rates
