About the Role
As a Lead Sign Installer, you will oversee and execute high-quality signage installations, managing projects from start to completion. You will lead and mentor installation teams, liaise professionally with clients and site managers, and ensure all work is completed safely and to the highest standard. Nationwide travel is required, including overnight stays.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage installation projects from planning to completion
- Supervise and mentor small installation teams on site
- Interpret technical drawings and resolve challenges in real time
- Maintain compliance with health, safety, and company standards
- Liaise with clients, site managers, and contractors professionally
- Travel nationwide as required, including overnight stays
Candidate Requirements
Essential:
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in signage installation
- Proven ability to lead small teams and make independent decisions
- Full UK driving licence and valid CSCS card
- Strong practical skills, problem-solving ability, and attention to detail
- Willingness to travel nationwide and stay away during the week
Desirable:
- Certifications such as SSSTS, IPAF, PASMA, Manual Handling, Asbestos Awareness, First Aid
- Experience installing illuminated signage and large-format systems
