Part-Time Catering Cook

Trade Recruit is proud to be recruiting on behalf of one of our prestigious clients based in Manchester (M25 1HQ) for an experienced Part-Time Catering Cook to join their team.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a skilled cook who enjoys working in a structured, mainly daytime hours with some flexibility for events – perfect for maintaining work-life balance.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook high-quality meals in line with dietary and nutritional standards
• Manage food preparation for larger groups (quantity cooking)
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organised kitchen environment
• Adhere to food hygiene and health & safety regulations at all times
• Assist with stock control, ordering, and minimising waste

Requirements

Must-Have:

• Minimum 5 years’ experience in a cooking role
• Ability to cook for larger groups efficiently
• Strong understanding of food hygiene and kitchen safety
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently

Nice-to-Have (Preferred):

• Experience in contract catering
• Background in quantity/bulk cooking

Location & Working Pattern

• Location: Manchester, M26 1HQ
• Hours: 7:00am – 2:00pm
• Days: 3 days per week (to be confirmed)

Salary

• £14 per hour
