Trade Recruit is proud to be recruiting on behalf of one of our prestigious clients based in the UK, a well‑established nationwide company specialising in fire protection services.
Due to continued growth, they are seeking an experienced Passive Fire Protection Operator to work across Wales and the West of England.
This is a mobile role, involving travel between sites, with a company van, fuel card and uniform provided.
Key Responsibilities
- Carrying out passive fire protection works in line with current regulations and industry standards
- Delivering high‑quality workmanship across multiple sites in Wales and the West of England
- Ensuring all works are compliant with health & safety requirements
- Completing site paperwork and documentation accurately
- Liaising effectively with site managers, supervisors and project teams
- Maintaining company vehicle, tools and equipment to a high standard
Requirements
Essential:
- NVQ in Fire Protection (or equivalent recognised qualification)
- ASFP Level 1 certification
- 3–4 years’ post‑qualification experience within fire protection
- Proven experience working on live construction or refurbishment sites
- Full UK driving licence
- Strong understanding of fire protection standards and site safety
Desirable:
- Experience working for a nationwide contractor
- Additional passive fire or health & safety certifications
