This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Plumbing and Heating Engineer looking for consistent, long-term contract work with a professional and forward-thinking organisation.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out planned plumbing and heating maintenance works
- Install, service, and repair heating systems and associated pipework
- Diagnose and resolve faults efficiently and safely
- Ensure all works comply with Gas Safe regulations and industry standards
- Complete job records and documentation accurately
- Deliver a professional and customer-focused service at all times
Requirements
Must-Have:
- Gas Safe Registered
- 8–10 years’ proven experience as a Plumbing & Heating Engineer
- Strong knowledge of plumbing and heating systems
- Ability to work independently and as part of a wider team
- Full UK driving licence
Nice to Have:
- Experience working within planned maintenance contracts
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
Rate & Contract Details
- Day Rate: £280 – £350 per day (depending on experience)
- Contract Type: Self-employed
- Payment: Weekly / CIS (if applicable)
- Work: Stable, ongoing planned maintenance contracts
Location & Working Pattern
- Work Areas: London, Hertfordshire, Buckinghamshire, Bedfordshire
- Coverage: National planned maintenance
- Working Hours: 8:00am – 5:00pm
