Trade Recruit is proud to be recruiting on behalf of one of our prestigious clients based in the Midlands.

We are seeking an experienced Self-Employed Roofer to join a busy and growing team covering West Midlands / Staffordshire and Birmingham. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled tradesperson specialising in pitched and flat roofing to secure consistent work with competitive day rates.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out roofing works across pitched and flat roof systems
• Install, repair and maintain a variety of roofing materials
• Work efficiently to meet project deadlines without compromising quality
• Ensure all work complies with health & safety regulations
• Collaborate with site teams and supervisors to deliver projects smoothly

Requirements

Must-have:

• 3–5 years’ roofing experience (pitched & flat)
• Valid CSCS Blue Card
• Strong understanding of roofing methods, materials and safety standards
• Ability to work independently as a self-employed contractor
• Reliable, punctual and committed to high-quality workmanship

Nice-to-have:

• Experience across a range of residential and commercial roofing projects
• Full UK driving licence

Salary & Benefits

• £220 – £250 per day (depending on experience)
• Van provided if needed
• Ongoing work with a reputable contractor
• Opportunity to work on varied projects across the Midlands
