Due to continued growth and an increasing workload, they are now seeking an experienced Security Systems Engineer to join their professional and supportive team. This is an excellent opportunity for an engineer who takes pride in high‑quality workmanship and is looking to build a long‑term career with a forward‑thinking employer.
Key Responsibilities
- Installation, maintenance and repair of access control systems
- Installation and servicing of CCTV and intruder alarm systems
- Working with door entry, intercom and electronic access systems
- Diagnosing faults and providing effective, timely solutions
- Ensuring all work meets industry standards and health & safety regulations
- Completing accurate job reports and documentation
- Delivering a high standard of customer service on‑site
Requirements
Essential:
- Proven experience as a Security Systems Engineer or in a similar role
- Strong knowledge of CCTV, intruder alarms and access control systems
- Excellent fault‑finding and problem‑solving skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong communication and customer‑facing skills
- Full UK driving licence
- Professional attitude with strong attention to detail
Desirable:
- Previous experience in a security or electrical services environment
- Relevant industry training or certifications
