Site Lead Plumbing Engineer

Trade Recruit is proud to be recruiting on behalf of one of our prestigious clients based in London.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Site Lead Plumbing Engineer to take ownership of high-quality plumbing installations within the hospitality sector. The role is fully hands-on (on-the-tools), focused on delivering high-quality plumbing work on-site, rather than operating as a non-working Site Supervisor position.

The position is primarily centred on restaurant fit-outs and includes working alongside site teams to deliver installations to a high standard, while supporting coordination on-site where required.

You’ll play a key role in delivering projects to a high standard, working alongside skilled teams across a variety of commercial environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out hands-on plumbing installations on-site, ensuring work is completed safely and efficiently
• Take the lead on your own work areas while working collaboratively with other trades and contractors
• Deliver high-quality plumbing installations within hospitality and restaurant environments
• Ensure compliance with all health & safety regulations
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues on-site
• Maintain accurate site records and communicate progress updates when required

Requirements

Must-Have

• Level 2 & Level 3 Plumbing qualifications
• Unvented Hot Water certification
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in plumbing (commercial or hospitality)
• Strong experience working on-site in a hands-on capacity
• Strong understanding of health & safety regulations
• Full UK driving licence

Nice-to-Have

• Previous experience in hospitality or restaurant plumbing installations
• Experience in wider commercial plumbing projects
