Trade Recruit is proud to be recruiting on behalf of one of our prestigious clients based in North Harrow.Our client, SKV Renewables Ltd, is expanding and looking for an experienced Solar Sales & Surveyor to join their growing team.
This is a dynamic, field-based role combining sales, technical surveying, and customer engagement within the domestic solar PV market. You’ll manage warm leads, conduct site surveys, design tailored solar solutions, and close deals directly with homeowners — playing a key role in driving the company’s continued growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and follow up on inbound solar enquiries
- Book and attend domestic property surveys
- Conduct detailed roof assessments and evaluate energy consumption
- Prepare accurate quotes and professional proposals
- Present solutions and close sales during on-site visits
- Maintain up-to-date records of leads, surveys, and conversions
- Deliver excellent customer service from initial enquiry through to installation
Requirements
Essential:
- Proven experience in solar or renewable energy sales
- Strong understanding of domestic solar PV systems
- Experience using solar design software (e.g. OpenSolar)
- Ability to conduct roof/site surveys and assess suitability
- Strong face-to-face sales and closing skills
- Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel locally
Desirable:
- Background in electrical, roofing, or energy efficiency
- Experience working with domestic customers/homeowners
- Technical knowledge of system sizing and return on investment calculations

Location & Working Pattern
- Field-based role covering North Harrow and surrounding areas (15-mile radius)
- Monday to Friday, 8:00am – 5:00pm
