Trade Recruit is proud to be recruiting on behalf of one of our prestigious clients based in Cambridge—Ace Pools Ltd, a specialist in the installation and maintenance of high-quality swimming pools for domestic residential customers.
This is a hands-on, site-based role working on private homes across Cambridge and surrounding areas. You’ll be involved in the full installation process, from groundworks through to completed pools, as well as servicing and maintaining existing domestic pools.
Full training is provided.
Key Responsibilities
- Installing swimming pools at domestic residential properties
- Excavation and groundworks within gardens and home sites
- Concreting, lining, and plastering pool structures
- Installing pool systems, fittings, and associated components
- Working in and around pool plant rooms, including pipework and equipment
- Servicing, maintaining, and repairing existing residential pools
- Working professionally within customers’ homes
- Following health & safety procedures and maintaining safe, tidy sites
RequirementsEssential
- Background in construction or a related trade
- Experience working on domestic or residential projects
- Full UK driving licence
- Own van, tools, and transport
- Physically fit and comfortable with outdoor work
- Good understanding of health & safety on-site
Desirable
- Good understanding of plant rooms and pool pipework
- Previous swimming pool installation or maintenance experience
- Groundworks, concreting, or plastering skills
- Basic plumbing or mechanical knowledge
Salary & Engagement Options
- £35,000 – £40,000 per annum (PAYE), depending on experience
- Self-employed option available (rates discussed at application stage)
- Full-time, long-term work
- Full training provided
